Vintage Turkish rug. This is a vintage hemp rug, hand woven with a flat, flexible weave. Cream with black thread accents on sides. Patches/repairs. There are so many possibilities with hemp rugs: use with a good quality rug pad alone, or layer a smaller rug over top. Fold across your bed, or use as a blanket.
The rug has wrinkles from travel, these will lay flat within a few days. We recommend a quality rug pad to protect your floors and your investment.
Care of vintage rugs is not complicated, as wool is resilient in high traffic areas, with the lanolin naturally repelling stains. You can find care instructions in FAQ at the bottom of our website. All rugs have been professionally cleaned.
